Aim

Help us fund essential safety fixes to open The Good Landing: a soulful day-to-night third space & music venue for Tottenham!

Hi there ❤️

We are Ivi & Tij, local Tottenham residents and the family behind The Good Landing (TGL) at 316 High Road. Our goal is to create a soulful, welcoming day-to-night third space + music venue.

As locals, we want to honour the diasporic and live music roots of 316 High Road while bringing a fresh, curated vision with kindness, safety, inclusivity, and creativity right at its heart. TGL will sit right between your room and the world outside, a lively shared living room for communities.

Safety Starts with Care for ALL People

We were initially hesitant to launch a crowdfunding campaign, hoping to cover every cost ourselves. Thanks to an incredible push from friends, neighbours, and hands-on help, we’ve poured immense love directly into restoring this space.

However, taking over 316 High Road revealed years of severe neglect and hidden structural hazards left behind. With no landlord support, the entire responsibility of bringing this building safely back to life rests entirely on us.

We believe that true community care starts at the most fundamental level: actual health, physical safety, and full compliance for everyone who steps inside: our guests, artists, and team alike.

Before we can stage our first night of live music, pour a single drink, or welcome you through our doors, we must make 316 High Road 100% physically and legally safe. Clearing old build-up and discovering severely outdated, non-compliant, and dangerous legacy systems has completely exhausted our pre-opening budget.

What "Safety First" Requires: Where Your Support Goes

We are doing this completely independently, and we need our neighbours and wider community to help us cross the finish line safely. Every penny raised goes directly to trade costs, safety parts, and certified safety sign-offs:

We need at least £15,000 for the initial health, safety, and compliance phase to open our doors safely:

- Urgent Electrical Overhaul (£11,000): Complete rewiring to eliminate severe electrical hazards, replace unsafe legacy circuits, and establish a modern, secure power grid for kitchen, bar, lighting and live audio.

- Fire Risk Assessment & Compliance (£1,200): Carrying out an official Fire Risk Assessment (FRA), installing required fire safety infrastructure, and securing formal safety sign-offs.

- Asbestos Survey & Register (£800): Conducting professional asbestos testing and establishing an active safety register to guarantee zero physical risk to visitors, staff, and performers.

- Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Survey (£2,000): Professional M&E surveys to audit, repair, and certify the venue's ventilation, heating, water, and core systems.
