Securing Our Future in Kinlochard
Kinlochard is more than just a picturesque village in Scotland; it's our home. However, like many rural areas, we've seen our vital services disappear. The village shop, pub, school and café have all closed down. We’ve lost our local bus service too. This decline along with an increasing dependence upon tourism, now threatens our community’s future viability. The Field, a precious green space in the heart of our village is at risk of being sold and developed to the severe detriment of its natural environment.
We are the community of Kinlochard—long-term residents, passionate environmentalists, and families who have chosen to build a life here. We have a different vision for The Field. We see it as being better owned by the community, and managed for the community, serving as a beacon of hope and a catalyst for regeneration.
Our Plan and How We'll Use the Funds
For too long, the fate of The Field has been uncertain, leaving the community feeling powerless. Our grassroots project, born from extensive community engagement, is our chance to take control of our future.
