The Early Bird Bakery Expansion

Aim

We are raising funds to support the expansion of The Early Bird Bakery, which will include additional seating and a new pastry kitchen!

The Early Bird Bakery has proudly been a cherished part of the Kings Heath High Street for nearly five years. Throughout this time, we have encountered various challenges, including lockdowns and escalating costs. However, we consider ourselves incredibly fortunate to have received an overwhelming amount of support from our incredible local community.

Kings Heath holds a special place in our hearts, and we have no intention of moving elsewhere. Nevertheless, it has become evident that our current space can no longer accommodate the growing demand. We are immensely grateful for your patience in queuing for a table, but we believe that waiting an hour for a brunch table doesn't align with the exceptional experience we strive to provide.

In an exciting turn of events, our wonderful neighbours have generously offered us their adjacent space, granting us the opportunity to expand our current site. With the support of our landlord, we envision breaking through the walls to create an expanded seating area that can comfortably accommodate more patrons.

Furthermore, our expansion plans include the establishment of a brand new pastry kitchen, ensuring the production of even more delectable treats for our cherished customers.

Project Goals:

Expanded Seating: By expanding our current space, we aim to provide a more comfortable and spacious seating area for our valued customers. This will allow more individuals to enjoy our delicious offerings without enduring long wait times. The additional seating will create a relaxed and welcoming environment where everyone can gather, connect and savour their favourite treats.

Pastry Kitchen: To further enhance the quality and variety of our delectable pastries, we aspire to establish a specialised pastry kitchen. This dedicated space will enable our skilled bakers to experiment, innovate and craft an even wider range of mouth-watering treats. 

Enhanced Customer Experience: The ultimate goal of our crowdfunding project is to elevate the overall customer experience. By achieving the aforementioned objectives of expanded seating and a dedicated pastry kitchen, we aim to create an inviting and memorable atmosphere for our beloved community. We want our customers to feel welcomed, valued and immersed in a space where they can create lasting memories while indulging in exceptional food and drink.
