Sport England - Movement Fund has provided £5,940 of match funding
The project aims to strengthen community connection and well-being through active play and movement, accessible to everyone.
Dundry Village Hall Charity has an award from Sport England and, with your support, plans to create a space for outdoor table tennis and pétanque that will benefit both young and old in the local community.
The village already has a well-used hall, playing fields for team sports, and a playground for young children. The addition of table tennis and pétanque (boules) were chosen because they are inclusive, low-impact, social, and can be played without expensive equipment. They appeal across generations, allowing children to play alongside parents or grandparents.
Planned for completion before July 2026, this project involves groundworks for both new areas and installing a new all-weather table tennis table.

Sport England awarded £5,940 towards this project, provided we Crowdfund to match their award. The whole fund will be used exclusively for the project; there will be no deductions or allowances for expenses. If the target is not reached, all money raised must be returned. The Crowdfunder will be closed when the target is reached, then Sport England pay the award within 28 days.
How you can play your part
We must raise £5,940 by Monday 9 February 2026, to match the award from Sport England, to get to the total target of £11,880:
1. Please donate now! Don’t delay because momentum is key.
