The Play
A hopeless manager, a desperate double act and a not-so-convincing male impersonator attempt an audacious and illegal stunt to save their theatre from closure. While the Blitz tears through London, Lombard persuades Tommy, Cyril and Rachel to join him in one last roll of the dice to save his theatre and boost morale. Will anyone believe they are the real Marx Brothers? And as Tommy is wanted by the British Military Police, is appearing on stage at all really a good idea?
Dominic Hedges’ script combines the wild wit of the iconic Marx Brothers with brilliantly British humour and humility. Just Some Theatre Company are proud to bring this theatrical whirlwind to the stage.
