The Customs House needs your help to bring the New Musical to our stage. An Amazing story of 8 incredible women. PLEASE SUPPORT!

The Dolly Mixtures is an ambitious new musical by John Miles & Tom Kelly. It's the incredible true story based on 8 South Shields women who set up a variety act, The Dolly Mixtures when one of their husbands' Ken Graham, was diagnosed with cancer in 1972. For 15 years they performed in working men's clubs through-out the North East to raise laughs and money for Cancer Research.  They raised £100,000 for Cancer Research in the male dominated clubs in the 70's and 80's. 

Now we want to raise funds to tell their incredible story on stage!

The action takes place in the North-East between late 1972 and 1988 in Hilda Joyce's (Joe McElderry's Gran) South SHields home, a hospital and various working men's clubs in the region.
