I am raising £1,250 to develop an online platform that gives diabetics the freedom they deserve to travel the world.
The Diabetic Travelers Network is a social impact community that provides diabetes all around the world with the connections, support, and knowledge they need to travel.

People with diabetes are in dire need for valuable information about how to travel. Traveling with diabetes can be very tricky as it affects blood glucose and insulin management. With an average of 300 decisions to make every day, traveling becomes very stressful.
I created this community because during my 5+ year traveling around the world with diabetes, I felt a need for support and connection among the diabetic community.

At the age of 4, I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. This not only took away my childhood, but it also let me with a life that was dictated by other judgment on my abilities. I was not allowed to go on school trips as some teachers saw me as a liability.
Fast forward, I decided to go to Australia. I had never traveled longer than 4 hours by flight before and never ever changed time zones! At the time I lacked information on how to travel with diabetes and I had to figure it out myself.
I have now been traveling across 22 countries in the past 5 years and lived in France, Australia, Indonesia, and the UK.
During my trips, I felt a need for support and to connect with other diabetic travelers. This is why I created the Diabetic Travelers Network.

I am looking to raise £1,250 to:
As we expand our online platform, we will seek to release informative blog articles, courses, and videos as well as hosted events and retreats.
Thank you for your support!
