Chris Hornby was an actor and director in London's West End, who died suddenly and unexpectedly at the age of 43.
At the time of his death, Chris was the Resident Director for Disney's The Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre, having performed the same role for Cameron Mackintosh on his production of Oliver! at The Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. Prior to that he had been a Choreographer, Dance Captain and actor.
Chris was loved and respected throughout the industry and especially well known for his love of nurturing young upcoming talent.
The Chris Hornby Fund has been set up to continue Chris' work with young peformers by offering a busary at The Arts Educational School.
Chris himself received a busary to study at Arts Ed and because of this, his life and the lives of many others were changed.
Lets give somone else that chance.
Thank you
