We're relocating!.. celebrating with an exhibition of Creative Upholstery, brought to you by Bristol Upholstery Collective.
Every year we celebrate the incredible works of our upholstery Diploma students, expert tutors and wider networks of Artistic Collaborators.

The world and its ever-changing climate, needs us to be practical and creative to overcome a few serious issues with landfill waste. Chairs are a big part of the problem... and it doesn't have to be ugly.
Our vision has always been to create an Upholstery & Craft Destination in Bristol, to deliver a more meaningful connection to craft, education through events and exhibitions and vocational training to enable sustainable livelihoods in restoration and interiors.

It's been such a privilege and joy to share our wonderful world of creative upholstery with the Totterdown locals and passers-by on Wells Road. We wish we could keep our shop front venue alongside our new larger industrial unit but being in 2 places at once is a tricky task for anyone.
Our new venue, with a move date of October 2023 to Unit 26 Barton Hill Ind. Est. BS5 9TQ will provide us with a thriving space to meet our next growth goals and vision:
- To provide regular Exhibitions, Lectures & Masterclasses to all.
- To deliver the industry Upholstery Diploma Qualification
- To deliver Upholstery Leisure courses for all to reduce, reuse & restore
- To enhance well-being practices through craft
- To provide apprenticeships to young people
- To connect supportive start-up craft enterprise communities
- To exhibit and celebrate sustainable design and future thinking
- To provide facilitated coaching, mentoring and development programs
- To provide affordable shared space to new makers to thrive
- To connect and collaborate with multidisciplinary art and design practitioners
- To inspire creative expression and meaningful connection to story, and belonging.
- To deliver high-end sustainable upholstery services to Interior Designers, Domestic and Commercial customers.

- VIP OPENING NIGHT & AWARDS CEREMONY - Friday 20th October 2023 - 7pm This is a double whammy celebration, with a special guest presenting Diploma Student Certificates and celebrating our new venue Grand Opening!
