Aim
The aim of this project is to raise £25K to pay one year's rent.
Our Vision is to create a space where women and children can live in peace and without fear. Since we opened in 2006 we have had over 530 women and children accommodated here. We offer them a GP and Dental Care, Psychotherapy and Group Therapy. Of course, we offer them Love and Emotional support too. We help them with solicitors and try to get them status in the UK so that they can live lives worthy of their dignity. We call them Sisters. We have seen a great deal of success in terms of the women living healthy and happy lives after being in our care.
Our team is dedicated to the needs of our sisters. We receive a small stipend of £20-£30 a week and yet we work a 40 hour week doing the hard graft!
We need your help now because Covid has destroyed our finances. We are short £25,000 which is basically our yearly rent. Covid has meant that We couldn't put on our music festival, shake our tins on the high street or speak about our work in churches.
