Aim

My play, The Cabin, is debuting at the Barons Court Theatre in July. I'm raising money to help fund rehearsals and to pay the actors fairly.

The Cabin

The Cabin began life as a short ten-minute scene shown at a rehearsed reading night in 2023. It was meant to be a deeply serious piece until people started laughing.

It has since been developed into a full-length comedy/horror play and will finally be making its theatrical debut in July at the Barons Court Theatre. 

What is the play about? 

The Cabin tells the story of former classmates Benny, Ali, Elsie, and Matthew, as they wake up in a locked room together. There's no way out, just cameras watching their every move.

The only thing in there with them is a gun, and they soon learn that their only way out is by using it to kill one of their group. As tensions rise and the timer runs out, secrets surface, old wounds are reopened, and heartbreaking betrayals are revealed.

Toeing the line between comedy, horror, and thriller, The Cabin examines relationships, the human condition, and why school reunions really are the worst things ever.

How will your donations help? 

Making theatre isn't cheap, especially in London. 

This is a low-budget production that I am funding myself. I am hoping to raise some money just to help cover the cost of hiring cheap rehearsal spaces in London, as well as ensuring the actors and director get paid fairly for their time and hard work. Donations will also help towards the cost of marketing, such as poster and flyer printing. 

Even a small donation will go a long way towards covering the cost of a rehearsal space, or paying for props or marketing.

I know times are tough at the moment, so if you are able to donate even a small amount to the project, we will be eternally grateful.

We can't offer much, but we are keen to show our appreciation for any donations that come our way.

All donors will be thanked in the digital and (if there is one) physical programme (unless they wish to remain anonymous)

Donations of over £50 will receive a signed copy of the script.
