The Brain Tumour Charity

RCN 1150054, Fleet

The Brain Tumour Charity is at the forefront of the fight to defeat brain tumours, making a difference every day to the lives of people with a brain tumour and their families. We are committed to having the biggest possible impact for everyone affected by a brain tumour, to defending the most amazing part of the human body.

Please be aware that after 27th June 2023, you will no longer be able to use Nectar points as a way to donate to this project.

Brain tumours are the biggest cancer killer of children and young adults under 40.

A brain tumour diagnosis shortens lifespan by 27 years on average - the highest of any cancer.

Only 11% of adults with a high grade malignant brain tumour will survive more than 5 years beyond diagnosis.

Brain tumours are not like other cancers. They attack the most amazing part of your body; the part that makes you, you. They do not care if you are an adult, child, parent, sibling or friend.

Every day, 33 people in the UK are diagnosed with a brain tumour.

Despite all of this, just 3% of the national spend on cancer research is spent on research into brain tumours.

This simply has to change.

The Brain Tumour Charity is the world's leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, we're moving further, faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour. We're set on finding new treatments, offering the highest level of support and driving urgent change. And we're doing it right now. Because we understand that when you, or someone you love, is diagnosed with a brain tumour – a cure really can't wait.

By supporting The Brain Tumour Charity, you are standing with everyone who has been affected by a brain tumour diagnosis. You are helping us to double the survival and halve that harm that brain tumours have on quality of life. You are being a change-maker.
