A drama to show the story of God at work in the Bradford Area – with a gentle invitation to join in.

It’s an evangelistic event, a something-to-invite-a-friend-to, with follow-up resources for churches to use in small groups afterwards, through advent. Essentially, we’ll pass the follow-up back to you as you’ll have those relationships.

We have a great script writer on the job who has written for radio 4 and Edinburgh Fringe etc, Jonathan Hall. He’ll be doing a listening exercise to gather stories, as he has done before in a project he did at St Christopher's, Holmewood.

We’re planning on the story being told by a group of perhaps five actors in venues across Bradford District and in each venue, we hope to feature local church and community groups who might sing or say a poem and make it truly a community event that people will want to come to. That might be local schools, or uniformed groups you’re in touch with, or perhaps ecumenical partners you work closely with.

We hope it will be the kind of event that helps people see that good has come from our city, towns and villages and that God is behind that goodness. God sometimes speaks to us in secular songs and this will be similar. We hope this will be a path to thinking that God has been more evident that people previously thought.

We need to raise funds to pay for a Director who will bring it all together, along with monies to cover venues, props etc
