The Big Twyford Tree Planting Project 2021

Aim
Our aim is to continue the work we did last year to re-wild an area of Stanlake meadow by planting 25 new trees.
We are asking for people to pledge to buy a tree to plant at Stanlake meadow where we will be continuing our work to re-wild an area of Stanlake Copse. After an overwhelming response from for the project we started last year, we wanted to offer people the chance who missed out to be a part of this wonderful project.
Together with Twyford Parish Council we are looking to attract more wildlife to a much loved part of Twyford. An area where many people come to walk their dogs , to get some fresh air on their lunch break or play football with their team at the weekend.
The trees we would like to plant will encourage more butterflies and bees into the area and beautify a much loved piece of common land. We now all know the importance of these communal spaces , whether it's a chance to get exercise , a place to meet friends or to enjoy the simple pleasures that the natural environment offers, taking care of these areas has become even more important than ever.
So If you are a nature lover or just want to be more involved with your community do pledge to plant your own tree and get involved with the project this year.
