Hello! We're The Plandits, an independent theatre company creating playful, imaginative theatre for families across the UK.
Over the past few years, we've been touring parks, gardens and historic venues with our unique blend of storytelling, music, comedy and adventure. We believe theatre should be accessible, joyful and shared, bringing people together to laugh, imagine and make memories.
This summer, we're taking a brand new version of our latest production, The Big Bad Wolf, to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
The Big Bad Wolf is a family-friendly rock-and-roll adventure that turns a familiar fairy tale upside down. Packed with live music, larger-than-life characters and plenty of audience participation, it's exactly the kind of show we love to make: bold, inventive and designed to delight audiences of all ages.
For a small touring company, however, taking a show to Edinburgh is a significant investment. Venue costs, accommodation, marketing materials and the many hidden expenses of performing at the world's largest arts festival quickly add up.
That's why we're asking for your help.
Our goal is to raise £1000, which will go directly towards the costs of bringing The Big Bad Wolf to Edinburgh. Every pound raised will help us reach new audiences, showcase our work to industry professionals, and build opportunities that will support future touring productions.
