THE BETTER WAY RECOVERY 24hour SLEEPOUT 2
After last years huge success we are back to do it all again
Last year we did our first 24 hour sleepout to raise awareness and vital funds to secure Better Way Recovery premises to begin our vision of helping ANYONE struggling with drug or alcohol problems in the Lichfield District and their families. All the money we raised that day has gone towards securing our centre which is now open 6 days a week. Since our official launch last November we have seen over 120 people come through our doors to access support which has confirmed what we knew, Lichfield has been crying out for this service for a long time. THANKS TO YOUR GENEROUS DONATIONS people in the Lichfield District who want to change their lives now have somewhere safe to go.
On July 23rd we are doing it all again. 20 of our amazing volunteers and supporters are sleeping out to raise funds to help secure Better Way funding so we can continue helping others change their lives. Our work so far has helped people get clean and sober, helped them into housing and reunited families. But more than anything YOUR SUPPORT HAS GIVEN THOSE STRUGGLING A SAFE PLACE TO GO 6 DAYS A WEEK.
