The Bath 5k Map Version 2

The Bath 5k Map is a Community Interest Company, and was launched in 2023 as a collection of circular 5k walks in and around Bath. 

A focus on mental health and wellbeing, The Bath 5k Map is a community project to support the wellbeing of young people with 100% of profits from the sale of each map in aid of two charities Mentoring Plus and Off the Record Bath and North East Somerset, who support the mental health of young people in Bath and beyond.  

Bath 5k Map is a tool for visitors and citizens of Bath to engage with nature, delivered as a physical map and online content to open up our amazing countryside to wider audiences.  

Since launch, charitable donations of £5,781.85 have supported our charity partners, Mentoring Plus and Off the Record Bath & North East Somerset.

What next?

The first version of the physical map has a collection of 20 routes, and I have been busy building a 5k route database.  For subscribers to the website, there are full walking guides and additional routes with route 25 releasing shortly!

I will be releasing the Bath 5k Map Version 2 in September, which will be even more useable as a physical map at a larger scale, and with new routes to inspire people to discover more of Bath and the surrounding countryside.
