The cafe has been given a second chance in Chesham! I am asking for some help towards a new marquee and decking to complete our premises x
I started the cafe in January 2019 in a run down shopping centre in High Wycombe. I wanted to honour my grandparents generation and create a quirky but educational environment for the young and the old. Armed with just a picture of a Spitfire I was introduced to WW2 veteran Johnny who became a treasured friend and supporter of the cafe.
The business grew over the years and we even featured in the top 100 pop charts with a charity song!! (We really did)
I moved the busineas to a former pub in the town but the lack of car park and outdoor area coupled with increasing running costs lead me to have to close the business in July 2025.
I didn't think we would return, but have managed to find the most amazing premises in Chesham that has so much potential. We have lots of garden and a car park and have been welcomed with open arms by the community.
I have set the crowd funder up as I need some help to get us over the line with the purchase of a new marquee and decking. The marquee host our Afternoon Tea dances which are so crucial for the business.
Our grand opening is the weekend of the 4th July so we have a race against time to get finished!
