Agents of Change - 100 Bridge Crossings!

Aim

We are raising money so that Flamingo Chicks can continue to support young people like us.

We are Flamingo Chicks’ Agents of Change! The Agents of Change is a youth leadership programme for disabled and non-disabled children.

As Agents of Change, we champion inclusivity and campaign for a fair future for disabled children. Before the pandemic, we spoke at high profile events such as the United Nations in New York, the House of Commons and performed at no.10 Downing Street! When Covid hit, we began to meet monthly on Zoom, and our group grew - there are now 35 of us! Over the last 2 years we have met and interviewed some incredible guests and speakers - from actors to Paralympians, NASA scientists to humanitarian architects! Each month we meet a new special guest and explore a new topic or skill: such as public speaking, environmental issues, finance, representation on TV, and activism through sports and entertainment. 

We are coming together in-person for the first time in over 2 years to get active and raise vital funds for Flamingo Chicks! The challenge - 100 BRIDGE CROSSINGS! The Bristol group will aim to complete 100 crossings of Clifton Suspension Bridge! Some of us may cross once or twice, and others may go for more - as a team, we'll reach 100!
