Aim

Help us finish THAT’S ENOUGH, an ambitious 18-minute short film shot entirely in one continuous take and take it to audiences worldwide.

THAT’S ENOUGH

18 MINUTES. ONE TAKE. NO CUTS.

THAT’S ENOUGH is an 18-minute one-take psychological drama following a first date as subtle moments of discomfort begin to build.

Hannah meets Liam for a drink in a London pub. What begins as slightly awkward but familiar slowly becomes harder to read. A question lingers too long. A comment doesn’t quite land. Small moments begin to accumulate, leaving Hannah caught between what she’s feeling and the pressure to remain polite.

Told entirely in one continuous take, THAT’S ENOUGH unfolds in real time, placing the audience inside the uncomfortable grey area between instinct and social conditioning.

When is enough, enough?

THE FILM IS ALREADY MADE.

On 20 August 2026, our cast and crew took over a London pub overnight to attempt something we had spent weeks preparing for: shooting the entire 18-minute film in one uninterrupted take.

No hidden edits. No cutting around mistakes. Once the camera started rolling, cast, camera, lighting, sound and background action all had to work together in real time.

And we did it.

THAT’S ENOUGH is shot and is now moving through post-production. So this campaign isn’t about whether the film gets made.

It’s about how far we can take it.

FROM COFFEE TO CAMERA IN THREE WEEKS.

The project moved ridiculously quickly.

Director Jack Douglas and producer Jennifer James met for a coffee to discuss the idea. Within three weeks, the team had been assembled, rehearsals completed, a London pub secured and everyone was on set preparing to shoot.

And because apparently making an 18-minute one-take film wasn’t stressful enough, our sound department had to pull out the night before the shoot.

Eight hours before turnover, a brilliant replacement sound team was confirmed.

Then we shot the film.

It was ambitious, slightly chaotic and only possible because an incredible group of people believed in it enough to make it happen.

WHY ONE TAKE?

The one-take format isn't a gimmick. It's fundamental to how the story works.

There is no cut away and no release from the interaction. The audience stays with Hannah as small moments begin to accumulate and her perception of the situation changes in real time.

Behind that apparent simplicity was a precisely choreographed production involving performance, camera, lighting, sound and background action — all happening simultaneously.

The result is designed to feel immediate, intimate and uncomfortably real.

WHY WE’RE CROWDFUNDING NOW

A NOTE FROM JACK THE DIRECTOR

"I wanted to make a film about the moments that don't immediately register as significant - interactions that feel normal on the surface but carry something else underneath.

THAT'S ENOUGH lives in that space.

Making it in one continuous take was the most ambitious narrative challenge I've taken on so far. We made the film independently because we believed in the idea enough to find a way of doing it.

Now I want to give it the best possible chance of finding an audience.

Supporting this campaign doesn't just help us finish the film. It helps us take something made independently by an emerging team and put it in front of people who otherwise might never see it."
