We are raising money to deliver tennis and equipment packs to two orphanages in Thailand, whilst training local community leaders.
From delivering the www.minitennisworldtour.com through 2017, we have visited over 28 countries, 100 communities and given 10,000 children access to tennis, in both primary schools and orphanages. Proving that tennis can be played by anyone, anywhere.
On the 18th October we will be flying out to Bangkok, to revisit the orphanages in Thailand (https://www.mercycentre.org/en and https://phuketsunshinevillage.org/), to deliver tennis, train the local community leaders and deliver the equipment packs for them to continue to play. We will also be using this opportunity to ship much needed kit out to the community leaders in Myanmar that we had visited and trained previously.
We have four school equipment packs donated from the LTA and our sponsors Zsig Sports for us to take out with us. British Airways are also supporting the initiative, giving us extra luggage allowance to get the equipment packs out to Thailand. We are now needing to raise funds for the customs charges and onward baggage/shipment costs, plus additional inclusive equipment for the children.
All donators will have their name added to our 'roll of honour' on our website https://www.minitennisworldtour.com/partners.
Thank you for all of your support!
