To record, mix and master the second album by Temple of Shibboleth, In The Shadow, in the first half of 2026.
The project:
Following on from our 2023 debut album, successfully funded here on crowdfunder, our second album continues the Temple of Shibboleth story.
This time, we are called to our Shadow side, beneath the Home and deep into the complex roots of our history.
Trusting in the magic of the Elements to guide us, the album culminates in the birth of Shibboleth: goddess of rest.
Intrinsic to the album's concept is the same sisterhood of 5 brilliant musicians - this time branching out ever further instrumentally, with oboe and baritone sax, and stylistically too.
There will be exquisite melodies, big grooves, sumptuous vocals and the sound of surprise that forms so much of who we are and what we do.
After two years of research, the music is already written and demoed and waits patiently to be recorded, mixed and produced by George Shilling.

The funds raised will go equally towards musicians, recording studio time and production costs and the target amount is the absolute minimum required to make this happen. There will be regular updates here of what we have covered.
