TEATIME - Jack Knightley’s Comedy Short Film

Aim

I’m Jack Knightley, an off-kilter comedy content creator, and I need your help to make my very first short film, TEATIME.

I’m Jack Knightley, a content creator with a deep passion for comedy and cinema. Over the past six years I have created a significant online presence using my own off-kilter, awkward and thoroughly British style of comedy. Now I'm undertaking my most ambitous project yet - writing and starring in my short film, TEATIME.

I'm teaming up with fellow social media content creator and director Jasper Pagan, independent production company Mad Heron, and Pocket Films, the new AI-driven creator platform, to make it happen!

And I want you to get involved too!

Teatime is a Black Comedy Short Film set in on the rugged moors of Dartmoor.

Teatime is my debut short film.  For years I've wanted to expand my social media comedic sketches into longer form films, and It's finally happening! But, crucially, I can’t do it without your help.

I've always been facinated by stories that balance comedy and drama, and it's a tone that I've always wanted to strike in my own work. Teatime expresses my own unusual sense of humour to tell a truly unique comedy film.

Basically, If you've ever liked one of my Tiktoks, TEATIME is made directly for you.

When childhood friends, Jack Knightley and Titch, attempt to reconnect on a hike up Dartmoor, an argument over a flask of tea leads to disaster.

But thats only the beginning...

MAD HERON

To bring this film to life, I'm teaming up with Mad Heron!

Mad Heron is an independant UK-based film Production company specialising in delightfully unusual, hand-wrought storytelling. Made up of a team of passionate young filmmakers, Mad Heron has created award-winning works spanning across short film, music videos, and commercials.

I'm overjoyed to be working with Mad Heron, who will bring Teatime to life in the quality it deserves.

Until now, I have managed to make my short form social media content without extra financial support, however as I begin to create longer and greater forms of film and media, I’m unable to fund these alone. That is why, I now ask for your help. 

This is my biggest, most ambitious project so far! So, please, join me on this journey!
