Help Tumble Gymnastics and Activity Centre fundraise to help make the centre more accessible and sustainable.
We are Tumble Gymnastic and Activity Centre. We are a centre who's values are inclusion, community and ambition. Our main sporting focus is on gymnastics, but the centre also hosts a lot of other sport and community activities.

The money raised from our Crowdfunder campaign will go towards upgrading facilities in the centre. This would include automating the dance studio and gymnasium doors, automating the lift door, purchasing baby/toddler weighing scales & pit socks.

Our centre is used by gymnasts, dancers, acrobats, gym-goers, babies, toddlers, parents, carers, students on work-experience and many others in the wider community. At Tumble, we pride ourselves in inclusivity and have worked hard to make sure our centre is as accessible as possible.
We have already taken steps to make our centre as accessible as we can and have automated the main entrance door. We would like to now automate 2 further doors + the (heavy) lift door which lead to main areas in our centre used by both wheelchair users and babies in arms/prams on a daily basis. This will increase our users independence and safety. We also would like to purchase some equipment for the centre which will help the health of our users, such as some baby/toddler weighing scales and some pit socks (which makes the foam pit safer for users with Pica).
It's important to note why we are fundraising. Covid-19 had a serious effect on our finances and resulted in a large revenue loss. Unfortunately, we don't have the funds for this and are still trying to recover money lost to keep the centre going. Improving our facilities stated through our fundraiser will enable the many disabled people, and buggy users, in the centre have improved access to all of our sessions at Tumble.

Accessing a facility easily and independently is incredibly important, especially to disabled users. By implementing these upgrades we hope that this will have a positive impact in users, especially disabled users, taking part in sport and the arts. Being able to get from the car park up to the dance studio independently with automatic doors means that both disabled people, and those with buggies, will be able to access the centre when there's not extra staff around. This alone will improve participation in the arts (dance) and sports (gym) which are both upstairs. The hope it it will also improve physical wellbeing and mental wellbeing, being able to participate in these sessions and improve relationships with family/friends through reduced isolation. Finally, the increased access will allow us to run training and education sessions in the dance studio, which has accessible flooring/etc, and allow more service users to enjoy this space.

We are Crowdfunding £20,000 to fund these upgrades and would LOVE your support!
