On the Road: Bringing Music to More Young People

Aim

Help us buy a van to transport equipment and young people, so we can reach more communities and deliver more opportunities.

Right now, something as simple as transport is limiting how many young people we can support.

We run music and creative programmes across different spaces in East London. Sessions happen in community centres, youth spaces, and local venues.

But getting there, with everything we need, isn’t easy.

Transporting equipment. Setting up sessions. Supporting young people who struggle to travel.

It all adds up.

And without a reliable way to move people and equipment, opportunities become harder to deliver.

Sometimes sessions are smaller than they should be.
Sometimes opportunities can’t happen at all.

That’s the reality.

A dedicated van would change that.

It would allow us to move equipment efficiently, deliver sessions in more locations, and support young people who might otherwise not be able to attend.

For some young people, distance or cost is a real barrier.

This isn’t just about transport.

It’s about access.

With a van, we can:

• Deliver more sessions across different communities
• Transport music equipment safely and efficiently
• Support young people who need help getting to sessions
• Reduce ongoing hire and transport costs
• Respond more flexibly to opportunities and partnerships

This means more young people can take part.
More sessions can run.
More opportunities can happen.

We’re also exploring more sustainable options, including electric vehicles, to reduce long-term costs and environmental impact.

Every contribution helps move us closer to making this possible.
