We're still collecting donations
On the 27th May 2023 we'd raised £10,440 with 103 supporters in 35 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
Our community shop will be a place where you can buy ethically produced, dry goods and learn new ways to shop and help save the planet!

We are Tavistock residents who think there are better ways to shop.
We were delighted when the zero waste shop opened in our town. Similarly we were devastated when it closed down.
We want to continue to provide a shop where plastic packaging is not needed, where goods will be ethically sourced and create a place where you can learn new ways to make positive choices when it comes to shopping.
We hope to offer events and opportunities which will explore how we can build our community and offer practical advice.
The shop will be largely run by volunteers, keeping costs down and creating community involvement.
There will be one part time employee managing the shop.
This is a community venture, not for profit. All monies will be reinvested in the shop or in projects which benefit the community.
We imagine a shop which will be a focal point for people to have access to information on how to live well and how to live ethically. Where people can come together to share ideas right in the heart of the town.
