Aim

Our aim is to reduce food waste and give food to the local community for free. At Christmas we run several events to benefit the community.

We are a community fridge run by volunteers.

At Christmas we provide many events under the umbrella of Together @ Christmas.

This includes surplus redistributing on Christmas Eve, a day event including full Christmas Dinner on Christmas Day for individuals who would otherwise feel alone, and games in the Christmas week where people can come together to play board games, have Soup or a Bacon Roll and be in the warm. 

Any money raised will help this event going forward as last year it cost over £2000 and we provide the service/events. 

Hiring vans for surplus collection and redistribution, making Children's stocking filler gifts, mini hamper for those on Christmas Day, giving food to someone in need over the holidays ... are all examples of how the money will be used. 

Our free service to the community is run year round by volunteers, and runs by donations and grants. 

During the Winter months we open up as a Warm and Welcome Space, providing a hot meal and drinks to anyone who enters.   No money is required, donations are not expected but are always welcome. 

Your donation will be extremely appreciated and will help at the minimum one of the 800+ individuals we will be supporting.
