Aim
to supply electricity and water to our staff restroom and indoor work area
The Tarka Valley Railway is a purely volunteer led group who are aiming to extend the railway from Torrington towards Bideford, and improve the education and knowledge about local transportation especially railways.
We are in the process of purchasing a portakabin to provide sales area, volunteer rest room and indoor work area.
To enable us to get the full benefit we need to connect the electricity and water - these funds will go towards this activity.
All of this will in turn help improve our progress of track laying and help us increase sales, encourage more volunteers, and enable more work to be carried out.
DCC's Community Chest has provided £500 of match funding
Aviva Community Fund has provided £200 of match funding
