Aim

On 12th May this year a massive downpour caused the foul sewer drains to collapse and sent sewerage into The Tap House destroying the floor

The Tap House was converted by husband and wife team Nigel and Christine Ree and opened on September 21st 2018. later that year it won CAMRA pub of the year and has won numerous awards since. Like most establishments it struggled through the global pandemic supplying mini kegs of beer to all its loyal customers.

On 12th May this year there was a torrential downpour which overloaded the main sewer which had been poorly maintained by Welsh Water causing this to burst onto the street, and eventually depositing all the foul water in The Tap House, it was around 500mm deep, this destroyed the floor, bar, pumps, bar equipment and two bar fridges.

The money raised will used to rebuild our quaint little boozer, into the great social hub it was.
