Who are we?
Tameside Netball club are an established club based inTameside Greater Manchester. For over 30 years, the club has competed at the highest level in both our junior and senior section; the latter compete in the England Netball National Premier League (the highest level of amateur netball). We have over 200 females particpating in netball with ages ranges from 6 to 55 years old. The club provides high quality coaching and development for all and last year we launched our '
Back to Netball' sessions which has proved very successful. It has enabled individuals to return to the sport they once played which has had a positive outcome for their physical and mental well being.

Why are we crowdfunding?
We are seeing regular increases to our club's running costs: court hire, umpires, equipment and medical supplies. In addition, our National Prem Squad will face increased transport and hotel costs as they travel up and down the county to compete (Essex, Hampton, Croydon, Norfolk to name a few). Instead of passing these costs onto the players and parents, who are already under financial pressure due to the current cost of living crises, we are looking to crowd fund.
We would also like to invest in the development of our coaches who would then assist in the development of our teams at junior, senior and National level.
This funding will allow the club to invest in growing the number of coaches we have and this pool of coaches can be used more widely in the community; including after school clubs.

How we’ll spend the money raised
All money raised will go directly to Tameside Netball club. It will be used in the following ways:
Invest in high quality coaching across our programmes Under 7 through to our senior squads;
Contribute towards cost of transport and accommodation for our Natioal Premiership sqaud; Develop a coaching fund to support our coaches development through the England Netball pathways.[upload an image here]
Community impact
Tameside netball club train and host their home games in Tameside, Greater Manchester. The club plays an important part in sport participation for all the community and by developing and expanding our coaching pool we can reinvest further in the community by holding netball camps, going into schools to support teachers. It will encourage children to become more active and we will continue to grow our 'back to netball' sessions which again aims to get people active and return to a sport they once played.
