Talk Ourselves Well provide nature based suicide prevention sessions to give men an opportunity to talk about their various life challenges
Talk Ourselves Well was created in 2020 as a suicide intervention and prevention response to losing some of our friends to suicide in recent years.
Mick and Si Donnelly created the Man Support Collective in 2021 where men can meet outdoors in a nature environment, under a canopy with a campfire, blokes have been gathering around fires since the beginning of time and we've engaged thousands of men since we began our mission to get more blokes talking about our life experiences and the various challenges men face in today's society.
Mick had been battling cancer for 8 years previously and it was a journey we walked together, he once remarked to me that the Man Support Collective had given him an extra 2 years of life, purpose and friendship, sadly he lost his battle to Cancer in 2022
To honour and remember our Co-Founder and fantastic friend Mick Keryk, we are tackling the challenging Yorkshire 3 Peaks again, with the purpose of raising some funds for the ongoing work we do within our community in supporting people with improving their mental health and physical, emotional, spiritual and social wellbeing.
Mick was integral to the development of the Mans Support Collective and he loved a good walk so we thought it fitting to honour him in this way. The route is roughly 25 miles and takes in 3 mountains.
The walk will be led by qualified walking leaders to ensure the challenge runs as smoothly and safely as possible.
Thanks for supporting our journey and please tell the men in our lives to talk about the demons that they keep inside, that's it's free therapy to talk it out and that they are stronger than they know! ❤️👊🏻
Keep encouraging men to Talk, Listen without preconceived judgement and you may just be the one person they reach out to and in doing so you may just save their life 💛

Grow Space Community Allotment in remembrance of our fallen Brothers, Luke 'Broggy' Brogden, Raz Hammond and more recently James Vengi and Nigel Lewin
UNMUTE Musical Suicide Prevention event, which is held throughout World Suicide Prevention Week annually.
Featuring eclectic (Expect the completely Unexpected) live music, spoken word artists, testimonials from people who have joined us on our journey, local djs, North West & UK hip hop artists, infamous drum n bass No9Kru, Enhanced Music's PARTS and internationally acclaimed turntablist and former 2x Vestax World Champion, the infamous DJ WOODY whose sets are definitely not to be missed 💯🎶❤️✌️
This year we are also giving the opportunity for young musicians to showcase their musical talents at our preferred independent local music venue, Sunbird Records, which is the brain child of our late friend, Jonathan Lindley ❤️
