Taking "Conversations with Myself" to the Edinburgh Fringe

Under the banner of the Cambridge Mask Collective, Leo is taking his own self-penned mask play to the Edinburgh Fringe. With the inspiring use of Lecoq mask and physical theatre, the piece is set against the background of the 1969 Stonewall Riots and explores Nicholas/Nikki's struggle to come to terms with being transgender. Best friend, Gino, throws a party to lighten the mood, but the guests turn out to be demons of the mind, who have come to haunt taunt, haunt and flaunt their own views of the protagonist's momentous decision.

The lighting designer is based in Edinburgh, so we only need to fund 4 actors plus their stage manager/sound engineer. The venue's financial deposit is secure, just publicity, printing, mask materials, travel, accommodation and possibly a little food in the fridge to go! Can you help?

Right now, Leo has his nose in his books, readying for Cambridge University final exams. I would love to let him know the project is on target financially. I hope you agree it is a worthwhile endeavour. If everyone who receives this can spare £10, we will reach our target in no time.

Best to you all Jay - Actor & Proud Parent x
