Who are we?
Tadcaster Albion Community Football Club isn’t just a football team, it’s a hub of the community with over 130 years of history. Founded in 1892, we’ve played at our Young Guns Arena for over 60 years.
Competing in the ninth tier of the English football pyramid, we play in the FA Cup and FA Vase, chasing the dream of playing under the iconic Wembley arch. Through highs and lows, promotions and setbacks, our club has remained a symbol of determination and community spirit.
But we’re more than just a team. We’re a family. A club built on the dedication of volunteers, fans and players who make Tadcaster Albion a community and team on and off the pitch.
We are giving you the opportunity to become an 1892 Club member, which will allow you to have a real say in running your own football club, whilst also ensuring the club’s financial security, helping to take the club up the football pyramid and most importantly, helping us to make a real and beneficial difference to the lives of disadvantaged people in our community. We are a members run club and completely run by volunteers. We own our stadium and have no debt.
Why Are We Crowdfunding?
How would you like to have a say in a members run football club? At Tadcaster Albion, we believe in more than just football - we believe in our community. This crowdfunding campaign will help us grow both on and off the pitch, ensuring that we remain a club that our town can be proud of. Here’s how your support will make a difference:
1. Community Impact
25% of the funding will go towards expanding the Taddy Community Foundation, enabling us to deliver life-changing projects for disadvantaged young people and adults. By working alongside local charities and organisations, we’ll provide opportunities, support, and a sense of belonging. This funding will also help establish our first-ever Ladies section and Junior Academy, giving even more people in our town the chance to play the sport they love.
2. Income Generation & Clubhouse Development
Flooding has been a long-standing challenge for the club, but with the new flood alleviation scheme, we finally have the chance to modernise our clubhouse. 25% of the funding will go towards transforming it into a revenue-generating event centre and community hub, a place that can be used by everyone, helping secure the future of the club while benefiting the local community.
3. Live Streaming & Digital Expansion
Football is about bringing people together, and we want to connect with our worldwide fanbase like never before. 25% of the funding will help us upgrade our live streaming capabilities, with new camera equipment, improved Wi-Fi infrastructure, and electrical upgrades to enhance the viewing experience. While FA rules prevent Saturday 3pm matches from being streamed in the UK, we can still bring the action to fans worldwide, boosting our 1892 membership, generating revenue through streaming, and creating new sponsorship opportunities.
Our matches will be streamed through Solidsport, with our final game of the season against Beverley Town, April 5th, marking our debut stream.
4. Dare to Dream
Why not dream big? Why can’t Tadcaster Albion rise through the leagues and take on football’s biggest names? Harrogate Town once played at our level, and now they’re competing in the Football League, even facing Leeds United in the FA Cup! 25% of the funding will help our manager build a squad capable of challenging for promotion and silverware, keeping the dream of taking Tadcaster Albion to new heights alive.

3. Match Ball Sponsor - £100
Be the match ball sponsor for one of our home league games where you and another person of your choice will:
- Enjoy fantastic hospitality, including food and drinks before and during the game.
- Meet the board, the manager, and the players.
There are 19 sponsorships available across the season.
4. Taddy 1892 Silver Club Membership - £499
This package includes all the same benefits as a Taddy 1892 Member, as well as an advertising board at the Young Guns Arena for the 25/26 season, which includes the cost of design and manufacturing.
There are 20 Silver Club Memberships available.
5. Taddy 1892 Gold Club Membership - £799
This package includes all the same benefits as a Taddy 1892 Member, as well as an advertising board at the Young Guns Arena for the 25/26 season, which includes the cost of design and manufacturing. You will also gain access to marketing benefits with your brand being marketed to over 13,000 social media and email contacts.
The Gold Club Membership also comes with Match sponsorship of one of our home league games where you and another seven colleagues will:
- Enjoy fantastic hospitality, including food and drinks before and during the game.
- Meet the board, the manager, and the players.
- Choose the man of the match.
