Aim
I'm swimming 3.8K from Ford to Littlehampton to support Brighton Surf Lifesaving Club to buy more essential equipment.
My eldest son has been a member of Brighton Surf Life Saving Club for a few years. He's found it a great way to learn skills, meet new friends and has gained his first life saving qualification already.
He loves it so much he now gets up early on a Saturday morning to help out with the younger kids - not always an easy feat for a growing teenager.
The club needs £20,000 to buy new equipment to serve new members, and replace old worn out kit.
If the club can raise £10,000 that will be match funded to reach the target.
So I'm doing my bit by swimming the longest distance I have ever swum, and hopefully convincing you to chuck a bit of cash in the pot.
So please help if you can, every donation counts to help raise £10,000 and release the match funding.
