Help to save our native hedgehogs! Your donation to SWCC Hedgehog Hospital will help to conserve, treat and rehabilitate hedgehogs.
Up to 75% of Britain's hedgehog populations have been lost in the last 20 years. With your donation, you can help to change this by supporting the SWCC Hedgehog Hospital to conserve, treat and rehabilitate native hedgehogs.
SWCC runs an onsite He
dgehog Hospital for the treatment and rehabilitation of hedgehogs brought in by the public before release back into the wild. Hedgehogs are brought in from across Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire, as well as from surrounding areas, such as Greater London, Suffolk and Bedfordshire.
The work of hedgehog rehabilitation may prove to be vital for the longterm survival of the population.
In rural environments, threats to the species have been identified as directly or indirectly related to anthropogenically derived factors (such as habitat loss and fragmentation, pesticide use, road traffic) as well as natural impact (including predation and prey item availability).
we can continue this vital work!Your donations will help support the SWCC Hedgehog Hospital in their ongoing feat to conserve, rehabilitate and release hedgehogs back into the wild to promote the growth of local hedgehog populations.
If you donate £10 we get £20, £50 we get £100, £250 we get £500 and so on! Every donation helps, so please donate now!
