Cwtch Mawr is Wales's first multi-bank which will address immediate poverty needs but also actively participates in environmental goals.

Faith in Families has Community Cwtches across Swansea and now Cwtch Mawr our multibank supporting South Wales. We support individuals who could be your hidden family, friends, team members, customers, and partners. Adversity and crisis does not discriminate, and we work with thousands of families every year across Swansea.
We specialize in helping people through tough situations, tackling complex issues with care, compassion and kindness – poverty – disability - illness – violence – addiction – abuse/, together we can make their lives better

Cwtch Mawr will be an amazing project helping people to flourish and thrive not just barely survive – so excited about our partnership and we aim to support over 40,000 families this year alone.
The cost of living crisis is now being described as the cost of staying alive crisis, people are unable to purchase the essential items that they need to take part in life.
None of us here, I'm sure, ever envisioned launching a multibank in Swansea, or even considering the need for one in Wales.
But the harsh reality is that we're facing unprecedented levels of poverty and financial hardship. More than in the 25 years that I have worked in this sector that I or my teams have ever seen.
Children grow up normalising, cold, discomfort, hunger, and despair, unable to learn or take part in life.
Parents are exhausted, anxious, and not have anything to hope for despite all their hard work.
Individuals wonder whether to heat the house or sit in the dark, or neither.
Cwtch Mawr will now be able to hug them all.
Children on the sidelines of the playing fields can now have brand-new football boots.
New mums will be able to go into hospital with new, clean clothes and essentials to start their parenthood with more dignity than perhaps before.
Care leavers starting in their new homes can have more than just a kettle
Parents will be able to celebrate their children’s milestones with ambition and hope.
We will recruit a team of volunteers to support individuals who need essential items to ensure that they receive goods that will make their lives better and are aware of Cwtch services that can give them opportunities to flourish and thrive.
