We are raising funds to host a one-day Unity Festival in Chingford to fight racism, fascism, and the rise of Reform UK and Restore Britain.
Why we are raising funds?
We are raising funds to help us host a one-day Unity Festival in Chingford, bringing together local residents, community groups, and campaigners to celebrate diversity and solidarity.
The event is going to be held on Saturday, 12th September 2026 at Mornington Hall in Chingford. We want to build unity and cohesion in Chingford, unite the community and counter division stoked by Reform UK and Restore Britain.
While much of our work is carried out by volunteers, effective campaigning requires resources. Funds raised will help cover essential costs such as venue hire, publicity materials, printing, digital communications, campaign resources, community engagement activities, and other administrative expenses that enable us to organise and respond effectively to the challenges facing our community.
Every contribution helps strengthen our ability to educate, mobilise, and bring people together against racism. By supporting this fundraiser, you are helping to ensure that Stand Up To Racism Waltham Forest can continue its work of building unity, challenging prejudice, and creating a more inclusive and welcoming borough for everyone.
Who are we?
Waltham Forest Stand Up To Racism is a community-led organisation dedicated to fighting fascism, racism, discrimination, and division in all its forms. We work to build a borough where people of all backgrounds can live, work, and thrive together in dignity and solidarity.
Our activism
Through educational events, public meetings, campaigns, community outreach, demonstrations, and partnerships with local organisations, we provide a strong and visible voice against racism and hatred. We also support local residents, activists, trade unionists, faith groups, and community organisations in promoting equality, inclusion, and social justice.
We work beyond Waltham Forest, together with the national Stand Up to Racism to support local communities across the UK to organise, mobilise and fight the far-right wherever they are.
Together, we can stand up to racism and stand up for a stronger, fairer community.
Thank you for your support.
