Getting the world's people vaccinated against this awful virus is going to take some cash - care to help?
Each one of you who has had your vaccination, or whose Mum or Dad or Grandma etc has, feel - above all - grateful.
Let's harness that gratitude while it's still warm and use it to make sure that people around the world have access to the vaccination too. In part that's philanthropy : your generosity can help protect someone else from this awful virus BUT it's also in our wider interest: the more people around the world that are protected, the safer we all become.
We know it makes sense!
This fundraiser sets out to raise a modest target from the people I know (beware, if you tell me you are grateful for the vaccine I'll as you to donate!). All monies will go to Unicef who are spearheading the initiative (the vaccine, the training, the transport etc etc).
What can you do?
1. Pledge (any amount...every £1 will help) 2. Spread the word - on Twitter, facebook, email etc etc. Please tell your network about crowdfunder.co.uk/unicef 3. Run a fundraiser like this yourself and ask your network to support it. Go to the webpage above and set up your own fundraiser - all monies raised (plus gift aid) will go towards this really important thing
Thanks everyone - UNICEF plans to deliver 2 billion Covid-19 vaccines to health and social workers, teachers and vulnerable people around the globe. But they can’t do it without us.
Together, we can win the race against Covid-19.
