Support Your Cause raises money for and shares the awesomeness of grassroots charities with quirky and inspirational fundraising gifts.

Hi! So, I'm Becs and I like to call myself a Social Entrepreneur. 

I've worked and volunteered in the arts and charity sectors for many years now and I know first-hand the amazing work these essential, grass-roots organisations provide to their communities. I also know the daily struggles they endure to fund their life-changing work and get their message and services out there to those that need them.

Around 18 months ago I was brainstorming some ideas for fundraising products, that I could create (as there was no budget to pay anyone or purchase items) to help bring in some much-needed additional income for the two, amazing charities I worked for. Using my friend's equipment I designed my first ever fundraising gifts and wondered how I could do this for other worthwhile causes. That is when the idea for Support Your Cause sparked!

A One-Stop Online Charitable Gift Shop that would be 

the 'Amazon' of charitable gifts.

So now I'd be able to design, make and sell quirky and inspirational gifts for more and more deserving and essential causes - not costing charity partners anything - but raising their profiles throughout the UK; as well as much-needed funds with every gift sold.

And so the journey began, and now 18 months and a collective of awesome supporters later, Support Your Cause is ready to launch its e-commerce website and Facebook store with the first partner charities and range of lush gifts!

And of course... Support Your Cause is a social business!

Of course it is. It has to be. You, our customers, our supporters want to know that all the money you pay for your gifts is going straight to helping our society and hopefully make this world a better place.

So here we are, turning to this awesome, supportive community to help us raise funds to subsequently help the life-lines of our society.

Our fundraising target will help us launch the website shop and purchase equipment that will allow us to design a wider range of products for our partner charities. We are also working on developing the Support Your Cause app. 

This app will use innovative technology that will integrate with some of our physical gifts to provide a digital experience that will connect our customers to the charities they have supported through their purchase; and spread the word of the awesome work these organisations do - think AR, VR and even more interactive tech awesomeness!

AND... of course we're gonna make this into an amazing community project!!

We're going to work with a group of local young people, right here, in one of the most deprived areas of Wales and the UK; our awesome young people will get the chance to learn how to design and code mobile apps as well as working with other relevant media and software; all whilst being part of the Support Your Cause app building.
