Aim

Help us to make Share Bristol Easton a success by funding the first lending sessions at our new Easton Library of Things.

Donations are triple match funded, thanks to the Mortgage Advice Bureau Foundation (MABF). So for every £20 you donate, they will donate a further £60, making your support go even further.

At Share Bristol our vision is that everybody shares, so we’re making it easier for everyone in Bristol to borrow everyday things they don’t need every day – tools, camping equipment, party kits, games, kitchen gadgets and so much more. We help people to save money, save space in their homes, and live more sustainably, reducing their impact on the environment through our community-led Library of Things.

We opened our first location in Kingswood in 2021. Since then, hundreds of people have borrowed instead of bought, completed DIY projects, held great parties, sorted their gardens, kept the kids occupied, been camping, saved lots of money, de-cluttered their homes and reduced their carbon emissions.

Thanks to successful Crowdfunders in 2023, 2024, and 2025, we brought the circular economy to more communities in Bristol, as we opened our Library of Things in Bedminster, on UWE's Frenchay campus, and in Winterbourne.

With the support of the Bristol community and the National Lottery's Community Fund, we have raised all we need to set up a new site for our Library of Things in Easton! We now need to raise the funds to power our lending sessions, enabling us to pay for a part-time Library of Things Manager to run the site, train and support volunteers, and keep things running smoothly.

Donations directly support our mission to reduce the number of items going to landfill, and help others in your community to borrow the Things they need to live their lives. You can even include Gift Aid to make your support go further.

Note: Match-funded memberships have now sold out! Please visit www.sharebristol.org.uk to purchase your membership directly, and contact us on [email protected] with anu queries.

Thank you for helping get more of Bristol borrowing!
