Aim
To keep Voices of Academia going, fundraising is essential. At the moment we have around £1000 (GBP) of costs per year.
Voices of Academia is a community project which involves giving academics (from all career stages) the platform to share their mental health journey, to help break the stigma around mental illness in academic settings. We have published around 100 blogs to date (www.voicesofacademia.com).
Since June 2022 we have moved towards paying our bloggers £25 per blog for their time, which we believe is important but given we have no current income, this means we have costs we must cover to keep Voices of Academia alive. Further, we have website hosting fees and other related costs to keep VoA up and running. This means we have total costs of around £1000.
