Aim

The Sulha Alliance has been supporting Afghan Interpreters for years and we now need funds to help many more families settle in the UK

Afghanistan is decending into chaos under Taliban rule. Our former Afghan Interpreters are top of the hit list for retribution killings. The UK government is trying to get as many of them out of Afghanistan as possible. They will arrive in the UK exhausted, traumatised and disorientated. Building a new life after such horrors takes dedicated support.

The Sulha Alliance have been helping this community build a new life in the UK for over 7 years working with existing charities and helping the community help themselves. We have built some amazing partnerships over the years with organisations such as Help for Heroes, Local Authorities and veteran's employment communities like JobOppO. Get to know us at our website.

With the horrors of the evacuation of Afghanistan, we now need to significantly step up our efforts and we need as much support as we can get to help these families resettle and build a new life in the UK.

Any funding received will help us to create community events to help families integrate into their new surroundings; buy school supplies for children; clothes for families who had to leave everything behind and welfare packages to keep families comfortable above and beyond what is provided by HMG until we can help them find jobs.

We have worked with Afghan Interpreters for years, campaigning to get them out of Afghanistan all the way through to sporting their resettlement in the UK which has helped us build an intimate link with the community. We now need your help to provide some comfort to the desperate families who are arriving in the UK and ensure they thrive in our society.
