Your funding will help support and sponsor disadvantaged people into good, sustainable work; enabling them to realise their full potential.

You might be surprised to learn that 84% of disability is acquired, and there are 16 million disabled people in the UK, however just 53.7% of these individuals are employed.

Shaw Trust is committed to ensuring those individuals facing the most disadvantage and barriers into good, meaningful work are better supported, better represented and better enabled to find suitable employment, succeed and develop in their job, and to realise their full potential.

We've developed a range of tailored programmes and personalised support which enable individuals experiencing disadvantage (particularly those with a disability, mental health needs, Young People, Refugees) across West London, to access sustainable jobs and  fulfilling careers and enable them to play a fulfilling role in society.

The funding you give will be used to improve services for disadvantaged job seekers; increasing personal development programmes and individual support packages alongside our existing programme of employment focussed activities which includes CV development, job preparation, interview practice and other confidence-building techniques.

We want to engage with more employers, helping them understand the benefits of employing a diverse workforce, improving their recruitment and retention.

Your gift is gratefully received. Keep up to date with the difference you're making by visiting www.shawtrust.org.uk
