Supporting Lancashire Youth Sailing

Aim
We are raising money for Lancashire Youth Sailing to enter and train for competitions including NSSA events and the 24 Hour race
Lancashire Youth Sailing is a volunteer organisation that brings together talented young sailors across the North West of England to compete in regional and national team racing events and regattas. We are based out of Delph Sailing Club in Bolton where we have a fleet of 6 Fireflies and 6 Toppers for our members to train with but we need to raise significant funds each year simply to survive.
To help raise vital funds, on Thursday 2nd July, we will be hosting an fundraising Evening at Delph Sailing Club with Stuart Bithell MBE (British Gold medalist) and Michael Wilson
Stu is a British Olympic Gold and Silver medalist and Michael Wilson is a former Lancashire Schools member now Entrepreneur and supporter of youth sailing at Delph sailing Club, Bolton.

Tickets are available for a minimum donation of £10* for an evening not to be missed.

Stu and Michael are both originally from the North West and have been individually successful in their respective careers. They now successfully sail together when they can. Enjoyment and success in our sport comes in many forms not just Gold medals, come and listen to the stories but more importantly the lessons and continue to be learning both in life and on the water.
Our sailors have already competed in the National Schools Sailing Association (NSSA) double handed team racing championships this year where we won the bronze fleet in the Fireflies and we are planning on taking a team to the NSSA regatta this July in Deal and we have also entered one of our fireflies into this years 24 hour race at WLYC in Southport.
Your generosity will help to ensure that we can continue to bring talented youth sailors together to compete at the highest level.
