Supporting Jael in her dream to become a nurse

I have been supporting Jael for the past few years consistently through One woman at a time which has been a lifeline for her . She is an ambitious and determined young lady and with your support she can have the life she truly deserves .

Privilege is NOT a personal possession k; it is life s gift to us and as such  it must be returned to society FOR life , for love and for the dreams of so many young people in our world that are not allowed to dream. What is a given for us here in the West it is not a given for so many souls in this world. 

What is the world of our longing we wish to create?

This is my reason for wanting to support Jael in her studies to become a nurse in her life. In turn, Jael will then train and support HER community to become nurses, contributing this way to a rippling effect in changing her community where she lives. This is no small feat.

Jael is an orphan and her aunt took her in as her uncles were preparing for her FGM and forcing her to marry at a young age.

They still want to do this, but we are told she is safe as we speak. She has had a hard fearful life loosing both parents early and being farmed out with no school fees paid .

Please support me to support Jael so she can start her nursing degree this year 2025!!. which lasts 3 years

My first ever memory of reading out loud to my mum and dad was at my first class in my primary school. I then recall my first ever primary school teacher , who I happened to meet again at my university years studying an Ancient Greek class together ,”Miss Roula” ( Kiria Roula). Every single day  would end Id run and give her a hug feeling deeply thankful for her love and care for my thirst to learn and be her student. For seeing me.
 Our school and college years stay with us.. fertilising the dreams we all have carried as young children…

I was SO privileged to have had an education and grateful to have had the family to support my studies abroad which led me to a great career. 

I wish to use my privilege to Jael's full support .
