Supporting Girls Football and Mental Health

Aim

We will be raising money for Young Minds Matter - A Mental Health Charity and our amazing Warwick Juniors Angels U13s Girls.

On Saturday 14th October 2023, our football team - Warwick Juniors Angels U13’s Girls will be hosting a fundraiser to support both the charity Young Minds Matter and the girls football team.

We will be raising money for Young Minds Matter - Mental Health in Children and Young People, with a percentage of what we raise going towards resources for our wonderful team. This is not only to raise the required funds to develop our team and give them the best opportunities moving forwards, but to highlight the importance and awareness of mental health in children and young people, and to ensure that it is okay to ask for help and get the necessary support.

The girls will be playing three football matches in one day to raise both funds and awareness, beginning with their home league match. This will then be followed by a parents vs Warwick Juniors game and then finished off with a third match against the teams friends and Young Minds ambassadors.

Whilst the matches are playing, we will also be hosting a cake sale as well as food and drinks; doing the utmost to raise as much as possible!

Hopefully you can join us in supporting an amazing charity to support those with their mental health struggles and to help continue to develop girls/women’s football as we follow in the footsteps of the Women’s National Team in hoping to inspire others!
