Hello and welcome to my fundraiser! This is for Ayhab and his family to survive the new famine imposed to them in northern Gaza, Palestine

by Demi K in Scotland, United Kingdom

Greetings fellow ally ✊🏼🇵🇸

My name is Demi, and Ayhab is one of my greatest friends!

He now needs our help more than ever.

Since 17 March 2025, Israel restarted heavy shelling in the central Gaza strip.

This has them trapped in north Gaza.

There, the extremely limited amount of basic necessities sieved through the southern border by local community support, is not reaching them at all.

The products in the market are becoming especially expensive, until they run out entirely.

In his words:

"I am Ayhab Muhammad. My house was destroyed in the war. My family of 15 and I were displaced more than 10 times. We lived in tents throughout the war. I used to work as a truck driver, but now I no longer work because my truck was destroyed. The hardest thing of all is the martyrdom of my brother Muhannad. Now we have returned to live on the rubble of my destroyed house. I need your help with cleaning materials, blankets, clothes, tarps, and tools that help remove the rubble in order to clean an area of our house and live on it."

When their family house was bombed to the ground his brother in law was bitterly killed in it.

In their moment of immense grief and bereavement, they were forced to relocate to south Gaza in search for relative safety.

Him, his disabled parents and little siblings lived in a tent with his sister and her kids.

Humanitarian aid was banned from entering Gaza for 16 months, and they survived the genocide with extremely liminal resources, in a tent.

His oldest little brother was then killed by yet another bombing from the occupation, while walking on the street, in the "safe zone".

Now, Ayhab is blessed enough to regain access to his bombed home's remnants in north Gaza.

Unfortunately, his business truck and tools were also bombed to the ground 🥀

We created a list of items he needs to buy and others they need to rent, in order to clear the rubble and rebuild their house.

Ayhab is currently undertaking a thorough market research to make the purchases/rentals as cost-effective as possible in order to make the most of our donations 🖤

These items include, but are not limited to:

- Daily sustenance

- Helping hands

- Purchase of safety equipment (gloves, boots, vests, clothing, helmets, first aid kit)

- Materials (concrete, bricks, plasterboards)

- Manual tools (pick axe, axe, sledgehammer, shovel, plough, cart)

- Engine tool rental (crane, tractor, treadmill, skip & truck)

They will be updating us and I will be posting here as frequently as possible with:

- What they manage to collect

- Make rental arrangements

- and when they start making use of them ⛑️

So keep an eye if into construction/demolition in action 💪🏼

If you can donate to my crowdfunding project to help Ayhab making his family's dream come true and escape homelessness by returning back in their own home, that would be miraculous and very much appreciated 😌🌻

Thank you for reading through, your solidarity and wonderful consideration.

Best wishes and eternal gratitude,

Demi, and Ayhab & his family
