Keeping the Arts alive for young people in Scotland that don't get the chances you get down south. To open up more avenues and opportunities
The Arts has always been pushed aside and not always supported. It is the first to be cut when finances aren't there. Why is this always the case. Without funding or support the Arts becomes very elitist, and who is there to give opportunities to these budding enthusiastic young performers who might not get those chances?
Glasgow Philharmonia SCIO is a charity that gives young people these opportunities to share a stage with West End and Broadway stars, and for no where near the cost of any other organisations in the UK. The experiences these young performers get are second to none and the likes of John Partridge, Kerry Ellis, Jai McDowall, Gayle Telfer-Stevens and Sam Hiller have bought into this and become patrons of the charity
But yet again, without the funding and support, the charity isn't able to back these talented youngsters and give them these opportunities.
This is where you come in, to support this cause and show that Scotland truly does have some very talented performers that just don't get the same opportunities as London young people.
The charity want to keep creating these opportunities and performing on various stages across the UK and get more and more young people involved. They can only do it with your help!
Please dig deep and keep the hopes and dreams of these young people alive at this hard time
