The Prize
Each month there will be a different prize up for grabs. Excitingly there will be two prizes up for grabs in December as it's the last draw of the year.
Prize #1 - 1 night mid-week stay at the Maldron Hotel. (for Jan - March26)
Prize #2 - 1 night (mid-week) stay at Four Points Flex by Sheraton, Brighton
All the prizes have been donated by the Brighton & Hove Hotel Association to support this project.
The Cause
This campaign has been made possible by the Brighton & Hove Hotel Association (BHHA) which has chosen The Clock Tower Sanctuary (CTS) as its charity of the year for the duration of 2025. The charity, which has a day centre in central Brighton, supports 16-25 year olds experiencing homelessness. Last year 139 young people used the day centre as a safe and supportive space, accessing practical and emotional support helping them to shape their own futures.
The Clock Tower Sanctuary is a place where young people can feel safe and do day-to-day things that can be difficult when you don’t have a place to call home – like cooking, showering and laundry.
They also support with practicalities like getting sorted with a doctor, benefits and finding a job. It’s warm, friendly and they have a great team of supportive staff and volunteers who can help young people get the help they need.
They offer one-to-one casework with a Support Coordinator who will work to identify what their clients need how to get there. They also offer help with immediate practical needs like hot lunches & food parcels, warm clothing, and access to laundry & shower facilities.
Everyone who comes to The Clock Tower Sanctuary has their own story and reasons why they experience homelessness. You can read about some young people who've been supported here.
