We want to raise £4,000 to elect Liverpool's first Green Mayor and more councillors than ever before.
In May 2021, Liverpool Green Party is mounting our biggest ever challenge in local and regional elections.
Sitting councillor Tom Crone is standing as our candidate for Mayor of Liverpool.
We are also standing candidates in wards across Liverpool in the city council elections to increase the positive impact our Green Councillors already have.
And we are working with Green colleagues across six boroughs to challenge for City Region Mayor.
Liverpool Green Party has no paid workers and no offices. Ours is a people-powered movement for change and climate justice driven by volunteers and funded by donations from individuals like you. Thank you.
Did you know that it costs £500 just to put your name down as a candidate for Mayor of Liverpool? It costs another £500 to be included in the election address sent to voters.
In fact, we need to raise £4,000 urgently to register our Liverpool candidates and get our campaign across the starting line.
Your support is critical if the Green voice is to be heard loud and clear in the coming elections.
All our candidates will be campaigning to build back better from the horrors of Covid-19 for greater democracy and accountability, greener forms of transport, and to protect our environment.
We take an ethical approach to fundraising. Unlike other parties we don't accept donations from property developers or other companies with an interest in influencing policy. We rely on the generosity of our members and supporters, people like you.
Every penny raised here will go directly to getting the Green voice heard across Liverpool in the May 2021 elections.
